If you didn't have time to get your family holiday session in before the end of 2016....there is still time! Now that we have snow on the ground here in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area, there are some great locations to get your family photos taken.
I met this amazing and adorable family and we went out on a chilly morning to capture these few portraits off of the Potomac River in Washington, DC. The kiddos as you can see are absolutely to cute for words and were real troopers in the cold weather. They came ready to have the camera capture some fun moments and awesome hugs between brother and sister.
J. Thomas Senior Portraits - Maryland Photographer
It's always great to be able to capture high school Senior portraits. Ms. Thomas came up to visit from VA to the Botanical Gardens of DC for her session. We had a great time and lots of laughs capturing some great images for her and her mother to look back on for years to come. Now is a great time to start thinking about your Senior year portraits if you haven't had them done in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area. Contact me for more details to capture your images for 2017 graduations!
Patriotic Family Session - Maryland Photographer
Happy 4th everyone! I hope that everyone is having a safe and family oriented holiday! I recently had the chance to photograph the Boyd family and they were so fun. We went to a local park and got these great family portraits for them since they hadn't had any in the past three years. Always a great thing to be able to preserve memories for families and be able to hang out for the afternoon with great kids!
The Shade Family - Maryland Photographer
While I was in Alabama a great friend and old boss of mine needed updated photos to document her family and there time in the south. So while there we had this mini session at a nearby park and got these great shots. I even got my little Calvin Klein model for the day to give me some interesting faces while we were out. It was so good to see them and hang out for the few moments we had.
California Bohemian Session - Maryland Photographer
I met Ms. Ivy online and we sent text back and forth for a couple of days and then met up for this session. We clicked right away and we had an amazing time on our shoot. Ivy was such a sweet person to work with and we vibed on everything from yoga to tattoos. She recently just started her own yoga studio and you can find her on IG and YouTube to see her words of inspiration and daily poses. I will definitely look her up when I head back to Cali!
VA Family Portraits - Maryland Photographer
I was excited to be contacted by this blended family to photograph their love for each other. I recently met them while in school and built a quick respect and friendship with them. The girls were absolutely adorable and one was camera ready at all times...which makes me very happy as a photographer. It was a pleasure photographing them on location in Richmond, Virginia and I look forward to many more sessions together.
Merlene Ashley - Maryland Photographer
Excited was not the word to describe my emotions as Ms. Merlene stepped out with this burgundy hair and makeup on point for her session! She came ready to work and gave it everything for these images. We had a great time walking around Richmond to obtain these images and she was an ultimate professional. I have learned to travel to find these hidden gems that others are not willing to. I am grateful for finding her and hope that our paths will cross again.
Medieros Family Session - Maryland Photographer
Family sessions are so much fun...especially when they are a combo to announce the new arrival to the family. This session was so fun and carefree on a chilly afternoon. The girls were glad to walk in the leaves and sit and look at the water while mom and dad took some photos with each other. I can't wait to meet the new little one and capture his first moments.
Ms. Natalie Senior High Session - Maryland Photographer
Who doesn't remember their Senior year and all the excitement of getting ready to graduate? Senior sessions always take me back to my senior portraits and the fun I had having my own portraits taken. I recently had the opportunity to meet this young lady and she was so sweet. Just calm and wanted photos with her guitar and nothing to fancy. Her gorgeous blue eyes and wonderful smile were such a delight to capture so she will have these photos for years to come.
